A guided tour takes you from the jetty out to a place chosen for the day where we can conduct our fishing. The fishing is done with a spinning rod and is simple fishing that everyone can handle.

When the perch is on the hook, it is not uncommon to get nice catches that can be taken home. A fishing trip takes about 3 hours with about 2.5 hours of active fishing.

I will pick you up at the pier at Ekenäs or an agreed place. . Departure from Ekenäs at 16.00 and back at the pier at about 19.00. Times can be adapted to your wishes to some extent, call me.

Life jackets are available to borrow. All fishing equipment is included and no prior knowledge is required. Good activity for families with children and more passengers can be taken on board, but there is only room for a maximum of 4 fishermen at the same time, hence the limitation.

A driving fee will be added if you are picked up at another location in Lake Vänern, for example SEK 1000 from Kållandsö. Call me for more information.

Trolling fishing is a towing fishing where baits are pulled behind the boat and we use 8 pcs. Rods.

Based on the season, the fishing spot is chosen and the steam harbor is Ekenäs Guest Harbor and Camping.

I have many years of experience with trolling on Lake Vänern and have baits and equipment well suited for this fishing. Fishing equipment is included and life jackets are available to borrow. Liferafts are available in the boat.

During the fishing we sit inside a warm comfortable cabin but remember to bring warm clothes as fishing is an outdoor activity. It is often significantly more windy on the lake than on the mainland, so plan with a little extra warm. Bring coffee and a packed lunch.

The fishing lasts for 6 hours plus about 1 hour of transport, so a total of 7 hours.

The tour costs SEK 2,300 per person and incl. VAT (for companies excl. VAT). 

IMPORTANT MINIMUM CHARGE SEK 6,900 (3 person)

You will be picked up at the pier at Ekenäs Guest Harbor and Camping and we will drive you to Djurö National Park where you will be dropped off. You walk and experience magical Djurö at your own pace and we pick you up at the pier and drive you home to Ekenäs again.

The crossing takes, depending on the weather, from 30-60 minutes and the same for the journey home.

Departure from Ekenäs at 09.00 and the return trip from Djurö at 16.00 with estimated return at 17.00. Times can be adapted to your wishes to some extent, call me.

Life jackets are available to borrow. The tour may be cancelled due to too fresh wind and some adaptation may need to be made based on prevailing weather conditions (for example, earlier departure due to increasing wind, etc.). The captain decides whether the weather conditions mean cancellation or not.

Departure from Ekenäs Guest Harbour and Camping to Lurö, a journey by boat that takes about 30 minutes. After your stay, you will return from Lurö to Ekenäs.

Less guiding takes place during the transport and I can pre-book lunch at a restaurant based on your wishes so that they know you are coming.

I will pick you up in my boat at the pier in Ekenäs and take you on a guided tour through the archipelago that takes about 4 hours.

Departure is at 16.00 and return at 20.00. Times can be adapted to your wishes to some extent, call me.

During the tour we will go through the archipelago and look for interesting birds, take part in the archipelago culture and the distinctive nature under my guidance.

After bird watching, we move on and go ashore on an island where we get to take part in the archipelago life that once existed in the Lurö archipelago. Living in the middle of Lake Vänern was hard and demanding with many stories of shipwrecks and mishaps, but also how the work with nature is done today.

Now there is the opportunity to have coffee. Bring your own coffee and your own binoculars/camera and we will stay for a while on the island to look at the rare flora and all the archipelago’s islands and peculiarities. Now we go on and if the weather allows we go out into the outer archipelago and get to take part in one of the more tangible ”sea characters” in Lake Vänern.

The journey continues to Lurö where we dive deep into the island’s unique flora and fauna. We go ashore and you are given the opportunity to eat 3-course meals at Lurö Krog. This is recommended and I will pre-book your visit in that case.
